U.S. Geological Survey operates a stream monitoring site (left) on the Yellow Breeches that collects and stores water conditions. The monitoring site, located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, is just upstream from where the Yellow Breeches meets the Susquehanna River. Currently this monitoring site consistently collects water discharge and gage height information and displays the data in graphs. The page allows visitors to pick specific dates or date ranges for the graphs.

For example, the graphs below show gage height (feet) and water discharge (ft^3/sec) from January 1st, 2022, to October 23rd, 2022.

The monitoring station also shows statistic data from the last 78 years

While this is a useful tool, I would like to see them add additional monitoring metrics like dissolved O2, pH levels, water temperature, and turbidity. There are other monitoring stations up- and down-stream that capture some of this data, but this is the last monitoring station before the Yellow Breeches meets the Susquehanna River. Adding additional monitoring metrics to this station could allow better insight to water quality prior to meeting up with the Susquehanna River.
